Print That Persuades (Introduction)

One leaflet gets read, the other ends up in the bin. What makes one printed piece attractive while the other gets tossed?  This one-day course explores ways to make your print production more effective. Design and layout, copy and content as well typography will discussed. Participants are invited to bring examples to discuss.

Course content
How to use the elements of design to gain attention; layout formats; working with photographs; selecting photographs; how to choose type; practical exercises to develop design sense.

Allein Moore was trained in the UK and attended the famous London College of Printing and Design. He won a number of awards as a designer and art director before developing his talents as a copywriter. He came to Singapore in 1979 as a Creative Director and worked for a number of international ad agencies gaining more honours. He was the founder President of the Designers Association of Singapore as well as the Chairman of the Creative Circle for four years. He was the visiting professor of branding at SE University, Bangladesh and sits on the advisory board of the Nanyang Polytechnic Design School.
